Led creative direction for El Pollo Loco’s “Abuela Approved” campaign — a social-first series designed to authentically connect with a multicultural audience.

Directed a 10-video campaign, contributing to casting, story development, and production across two locations in a single-day shoot.

Also created and starred in Hispanic Heritage Month content, concepting and producing six branded videos, along with additional menu launch content.

Flagship Commercial — Kalaveras

OVERVIEW

A fast-growing restaurant brand needed high-volume, scroll-stopping content to drive foot traffic and build a strong social presence.

I led the creative for Kalaveras, writing, directing, and producing a large-scale campaign including a flagship commercial and over 100+ short-form videos.

The goal was to create content that felt cinematic, social-native, and instantly engaging — without losing the brand's energy and identity.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

We approached the campaign as a hybrid between commercial and social content.

The hero commercial was designed to capture attention immediately using movement, vibrant environments, and lifestyle-driven storytelling.

For short-form, we developed repeatable formats that could scale — combining food, atmosphere, and personality to keep audiences engaged across TikTok and Instagram.

Every piece was designed to feel organic, not overly produced, while still maintaining a polished, brand-level look.
